Highlights from the Erasmus+ LeaFaP Project Meeting in Malaga 🇪🇸

From March 13th to 15th, the transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ LeaFaP project took place at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Málaga. The aim of LeaFaP is to train professionals who support groups of teachers forming Professional Learning Communities, encouraging collaborative work, reflective practice, and inquiry.

During the meeting, two reports were discussed: one based on a literature review (https://www.leafap.eu/about/results/)and the other presenting data on the practices, experiences, roles, challenges, and training needs of these teacher community facilitators. Additionally, groundwork was laid to develop the theoretical framework and learning outcomes for upcoming training activities.

The meeting was a collaboration among eight teacher training institutions, including Weingarten University of Education (Germany, coordinator), Vorarlberg University of Education (Austria), European University of Cyprus, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the Marbella–Coín Teaching Center (Spain), the Málaga Teaching Center (Spain), and the University of Malaga (Spain).

🔍 This meeting was a step forward in our journey to enhance the quality of education through professional learning communities. Stay tuned for more updates!
